Event Space Update
In April 2021, the Hawaii County Leeward Planning Commission denied our request for a permit to build a new venue space on our farm. Due to that denial, we are back to the drawing board for the time being and will not be hosting or booking any events on our farm.
I (Kate) have decided to continue on in the wedding industry and I have pivoted the venue coordination aspect of Sunshower Farms to a new wedding planning, coordination, and event rental business - Sunshower Weddings!

If you are sad that Sunshower is no longer a venue, don’t despair - I would be happy to help you find another venue that fits you even better! Venue selection can be so hard on this island so this is a great first step for people who want to get married on the Big Island but are not sure where to start!
